Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 6g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, disperses Cold, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and stops pain due to Blood Stasis.
Dry-fried Rx. Paeoniae Alba Chao Bai Shao 6g Nourishes the Blood and astringes Yin.
With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood.
With Gan Cao, for muscle spasms, pain and numbness, especially in the calf, due to Blood Deficiency.
With Dang Gui and Shu Di Huang, for dizziness and blurred vision due to Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 6g Harmonizes the Exterior and Interior and disperses Wind-Heat.
With Bai Shao, for Liver Blood Deficiency with Liver Qi Stagnation.
With Gan Cao, for Wind-Heat fever.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 6g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies and cools the Blood.
With Chai Hu, for Heat in the Shao Yang with alternating chills and fever and nausea.
With Bai Shao, cools and nourishes the Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 15g Nourishes the Blood and nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin.
With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency marked by dizziness, palpitations, insomnia and menstrual dysfunction.
Cx. Lycii Di Gu Pi 15g Cools the Blood, drains Yin Deficiency Fire and clears and drains Heat in the Lung.
With Huang Qin, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Hb. Leonuri Yi Mu Cao 15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Stasis, Promotes urination, reduces swelling, clears Heat and resolves toxicity.
